Filled:  Full-time Payroll Administrator in Downtown Cleveland, flexible working hours; Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm,  or 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.


Job purpose:  Assist the payroll department and maintain payroll functions


Duties:

  • Establish master payroll files 
  • Enter payroll using Kronos and SAP System
  • Enter wage changes, credit dues, , union deductions, child support and garnishments
  • Compile payroll figures from payroll forms, timesheets, leave of absence forms, vacation leave and overtime forms
  • Determine the accuracy of payroll reports,  prepare payroll figures for data processing using time sheets, transaction sheets and tax deductions
  • Validate payroll register, distributes pay warrants to department employees on a bi-weekly basis prepares personnel actions for various employment activities including hiring, discipline, status changes


Previous Experience:

  •  Minimum of two (2) years of business administration, processing payroll and human resources experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  •  Documentation of personnel records, withholding forms, payroll records, PERS forms, benefit forms, personnel action forms, job descriptions, master time sheets, personnel files 
  • Ability to use Kronos 
  • Good communicate skills, verbal and written


Prerequisites:

  • ​Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screening
  • No violent felonies or violent misdemeanors
  • Must have the experience, and education to perform the job duties
